We're Prelo, a sales intelligence and lead generation analytics platform. We help early-stage Startups and small and medium sized businesses find key decision makers in well-funded fast-growing tech companies. How do we collect information from you?

We take information about the Startups that you interact with on our platform and use that information to suggest similar Startups that your business growth requirements. If you register to receive any of our newsletters, we'll provide you with regular updates about industries you've shown an interest in.

How is your information used?

The personal information we collect might include your name, address, email address, user account details, IP address, any information you have shared with us, and information regarding what pages are accessed and when. If you purchase a product from us, your card information is not held by us, it is collected by our third-party payment processors, who specialise in the secure online capture and processing of credit/debit card transactions, as explained below.

How do we collect information from you?

  • process a Prelo service you have purchased;

  • to carry out our obligations arising from any contracts entered into by you and us;

Third-Party Product Providers we work in association with: We work closely with various third-party product providers to bring you a range of quality and reliable products and services designed to meet the needs of our job seekers and recruiters (e.g. Stripe, and online payment service). When you enquire about or purchase one or more of these products, the relevant third-party product provider will use your details to provide you with information and carry out their obligations arising from any contracts you have entered into with them. In some cases, they will be acting as a data controller of your information and therefore we advise you to read their Privacy Policy. When you are using our secure online payment pages, your payment is processed by a third-party payment processor, who specialises in the secure online capture and processing of credit/debit card transactions. If you have any questions regarding secure transactions, please contact us.

Security precautions in place to protect the loss, misuse or alteration of your information

Website recording

Our web site may also use the Hotjar website recording service. HotJar is a product that has been developed to record mouse clicks, mouse movements, page scrolling and any text keyed into website forms. The information collected does not include bank details or any sensitive personal data. Data collected by Hotjar from is for Prelo's internal use only. The information collected is used to improve our website's user experience and usability. The information collected will be stored and used for aggregated and statistical reporting.
